Project 365 and a pool update..
OK, I am going to do it. I am going to take at least one photo every single day for one entire year. Every. Single. Day.
I have read about many people doing this project and it always seems to get rave reviews. You get a photo documentary of your year and you get to see how your photography has progressed over the year.
Here is my photo from today, day 9.
Our pool is installed, but the pool guys seems to have abandoned us. We are waiting for them to build the deck but they refuse to give us any estimation for date of completion. I am just a bit annoyed and have resorted to daily calls to them. And I am not getting any response. Frustrating.
My hubby also needs to run a gas line for the heater. Today the water was about 65 degrees. Extremely cold, but it didn't stop Christina and her friend from jumping in for a little bit today. CRAZY KIDS!!!
Hopefully we will have the heater running in a day or so and, hopefully, the deck will be constructed soon as well. And then we can really start enjoying this gift. Especially Caroline!
Anyway, I am excited about my 365 project and hope that I continue in my determination to finish it. I am expecting it will be a very educating experience.

I am on day 108 of mine. I track it in flickr but I have been slacking a bit lately. Hopefully, seeing your pictures will inspire me!

How frustrating with the pool finalization. I don't do well with a lack of information, and having something half done would drive me crazy! At least someone's enjoying the pool already though.

That is a lovely shot Irene. I do POTD (picture of the day) but not always on my blog and it is an AWESOME exercise to do.
Good for you, jumping on board with 365! I tend to take way more than one picture a day as it is LOL. The pool looks awesome!!! Kiddos never seem to mind the cold.
I love this idea, but I would love it more if I was as talented as you. How did you get the pool cover to look so darn blue and funky cool?

Project 365 always sounds like so much fun. I'm too much of a commitmentaphobe, but I'll enjoy tracking yours.
What a great idea! 365 photos. Wow. This will have to be put on my goals list. I will definitely do it at some point. I promise!
Pools can be very frustrating. When we were installing ours it was just a cat & mouse game almost. It's not fun. Hopefully your calls get you some answers soon!

Can I tag along? I'd love to try this especially because I have blog-block and am very uninspired at the moment. You may have just fix that for me. I'm going to need more help from you though. Can you put a little blurb by your daily photo if you used any special tricks or tips. You don't have to give away all your secrets, just a little something to help us non-photographers have an ah-ha moment.

Yay for doing 365! I am doing it, although I've probably already missed 7 days or so :( It's hard, but totally worth it. I don't post all of my pictures because I don't think many of them are "worthy."
I am looking forward to all of the ones you will post though. Your photos are always stunning!
